M35 Double Decal Unusual SS Helmet

Solid M35 helmet with remaining liner, the helmet been heavily cleaned but paint and decals are still visible. A  very interesting piece because it was found on former positions of the SS Totenkopf Division and has part of a Heer decal and also part of an SS decal.  This was sometimes the case when SS units borrowed or stole replcement equipment from Heer supplies when their own stores were low or out themselves in such dire situations.  There are historic photos of SS men with Heer marked helmets in the region.
