German buckle war trophy remade by Russian Soldier

An unusual bit of trophy trench art.  German WW1 buckle used occasionally by German soldiers in WW2 for sentimental reasons, or as part of a veteran soldier's possessions. This buckle been given a Soviet badge when captured or found by a Russian soldier. Soldiers would create a unique war trophy and statement with German buckles by placing Soviet cap badges upon them.  An unusual piece of trench art being made from a WW1 buckle when most such Partisan or Red Army modified trophy buckles used WW2 buckles.
